A supportive and welcoming secondary school in Brent, North-West London are looking for a graduate teaching assistants to start immediately, supporting the staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity for to develop skills in the education sector, good hours, in a relaxed environment with great structure support offered by the staff. They are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who has experience working within a secondary environment.

This would be great experience for a budding teacher, or someone who was considering a career in education.

Required:

A Bachelor's degree (minimum lower second)
Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
Experience working with secondary school children (age 11-16) in some capacity
Right to work in the UK
Either have or be willing to get an enhanced DBS on the update service

Responsibilities:

Exact responsibilities will depend on role but may include:

Working with children aged 11-16 operating classes in various subjects.
Helping children with special educational needs
Engaging with students for 4-5 periods
Treating children with respect and kindness
